Welcome to peat

P.E.A.T. is a parent led charity based in Northern Ireland. We promote the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for helping children with Autism. We provide training and support in ABA to parents and carers of children with Autism.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life of children and adults with Autism by utilising scientifically validated and effective intervention.

In 2009 the 4th Facing Autism: Ireland conference was held in Belfast and our theme was Effectively Educating for Life. The conference highlighted the importance of effective evidence-based education and intervention that starts in the early years but goes on across the lifespan.

Between the speakers and workshops there was plenty of stimulating information, discussions, supportive workshops, and informal meetings that allowed the attendees to expand their knowledge of ABA and ASD, as well as opportunities to build new networks of friends, colleagues, and collaborators.

We are sure that you will find plenty of stimulating information, discussion, workshops, and informal meetings that allow you to expand your knowledge of ABA and ASD and that you will find opportunities to build new network of friends, colleagues, and collaborators.
